My name's Mohamed Omar

I am the Head of Projects Management Department at The Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT). I'm a certified professional and a trainer in Instrumental Analysis, Oil Identification Technology, Crisis Management, Contingency planning, GIS, Risk Assessment, Simulation and Modeling with more than 30 years of experience. I am also the lead instructor of Environmental Sciences, Ecological Risk Assessment and Environmental Modeling at the Environmental Sciences Department at the Faculty of Science, Alexandria University. I also teach Applied Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, Oil Spill Response, Environmental Crisis Management, Geographic Information System (GIS) at the College of Engineering at AASTMT. I am a formal consultant to the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) and a permanent member for the Egyptian National Oil Spill Contingency Plan committee at the EEAA. Furthermore, I am the lead consultant for the the Preparation of the NAP of Egypt for the implementation of the Regional Strategy.
